West Cape Howe Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir 750mL

$22.00 each

Description

All batches are kept separate during winemaking to maximise blending options and the complexity of the final wines. The wines go through secondary fermentation in bottles and are aged on yeast lees for as long as possible - the average tirage of the final blend is two years. COLOUR Pale gold. Great clarity. AROMA The lifted nose displays honeysuckle and citrus notes. The tirage age contributes aromas of nougat and roasted nuts, while the Pinot Noir fruit shows delicate strawberry. PALATE The palate is well balanced with delicate fruit flavours, creaminess from the fine bead mousse and fresh acid. The wine finishes dry and light, with lingering flavours of citrus and nougat. CELLARING POTENTIAL Immediate consumption will cellar for up to 1 year.
