Description

Composed of 90% Tempranillo grape and 10% Garnacha grape harvested by hand from our farms: Paraje 3 Marqueses (1998), Las Canteras (1986) and Santa Ana (1998), the first in the area of the three Marqueses from Logroño and the last two in Murillo de Rio Leza making the southern limit of the DOCa. Rioja since they are at the entrance of the Sierra del Camero Viejo. Limestone and clay-sandy soils with a loamy texture and medium depth. Northeast orientation. Grapes harvested by hand and collected in 200-kilo pallets. The grape grains are separated from the bunch and placed in a warehouse where they will remain for 48 hours at a temperature of between 5 and 10 degrees. We then ferment (transform the sugar into alcohol) at a low temperature. Our way of mixing skin, seeds and liquid is through a novel disintegration system in which the “hat” is completely submerged in the liquid. This way we extract more color and more aromas from the grape variety. The second fermentation or malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks. To achieve this aging, we keep the wine for a year in 225-liter French oak barrels and then go to the bottle until it achieves that roundness and balance that characterizes it without losing the fruity and fresh character of Paco García. What are you going to find? A round, balanced, fresh and tasty wine. Cherry red in color, it is clean and bright. In this wine we find a ripe fruit (peach, cherries), mint and chocolate. Once it is in the mouth it is delicious, pleasant, intense, harmonious and romantic; a vinazo. Drink it when you feel like it the most, alone, accompanied, in summer, in winter, with your girlfriend or with your boyfriend, standing, sitting, dancing! Eating or talking. But always drink it at a good temperature (16-18 Cº) and enjoy the wine, which in addition to being good is heart-healthy! (And disinhibits in crucial moments …) About the producer: Based in Rioja Spain We are a couple of young wine lovers, simple, hard-working and with many concerns, who have managed to surround ourselves with a good team of friends with whom, together, we can create a good wine and make it reach all parts of the world. We would not be where we are if it had not been for the tenacity, courage and effort of Francisco García and Julia Pablo , who in 2001 founded the family winery in their town, Murillo de Río Leza. Hence the first stone and sweat to this day.
