This Margaret River red shows concentrated blackcurrant and cassis fruit on the nose, with a touch of violets. The blackcurrant continues on the palate, with some bay leaf and earthy characters, cedary oak and fine, chalky tannins on the finish. You could try it now with roast lamb but it would benefit from another three to five years in the bottle to really start showing its class.
